The Mercer Team enjoy an annual visit to Centre Court, Wimbledon. Unfortunately, not for serving practice but to erect scaffolding around the visitors pod, so that it can be dismantled in time for the Wimbledon Tennis Championships. The team then revisit a few weeks after Wimbledon so that the pod can be reinstated, working in conjunction with Opal Fabrication.
The centre pod requires splay scaffolding techniques in order to manoeuvre around its ten equal sided decagon shape. When re-erecting the structure after the tournament, simple floor markings provide the only guidelines. Therefore, team leader David Norman calls upon the skills and experience of his gang to get the job done and hit a winner!

Testimonial from Dave Dodd, Director at Opal Fabrication:
“This is the 4th year in a row that we’ve worked with Mercer Scaffolding on the visitors pod at centre court. I always enjoy working with David and his gang. They are professional, friendly and very efficient on the job. They know exactly what to do and get on with it. Thanks again Mercer! See you after the tournament!”.
