The Kensington property was in need of a complete exterior refurbishment including stonework, leadwork and the repainting of its Masonry decorated woodwork window frames. The client C&N Building Services called upon Mercer Scaffoldings expertise in order to successfully complete this task and satisfy the resident.
The property was difficult to work with being both terraced and without access from the rear. Therefore, the Mercer team had to use an ‘up and over’ method of scaffolding to gain access safely. All materials were pulled through a custom built gantry at the front of the property by rope and wheel. Mr Tony Staughton clearly instructed his team to carefully craft this scaffolding method using traditional equipment such as scaffolding tubes, fittings, debris, netting, rope and wheel.
