Mercer Scaffolding was tasked by Looks Construction with erecting scaffolding that facilitated the demolition of buildings between two commercial properties. The project involved adding scaffold to new buildings and a site gantry on the pavement for continued access, as per IDH drawings.
In order to successfully complete this project the Mercer team worked closely with all stakeholders, in particular with Looks, owners of the adjoining properties, the local council and general public. It was very important to facilitate the needs of all those associated with or affected by the work being carried out. For example, Mercer carried out gantry works over the weekend to minimise disruption in the local area.
