Mercer Scaffolding were proud to be a part of the London 2012 Paralympics. The team was contracted by John Sisk & Son to work at the Royal Artillery Barracks in Woolwich, London. The objective was to construct the ramp for the Archery finals, Archery Ranking Range and scaffolding for the Rifle Shooting event. This was by no means an easy task, for example the Archery Ranking Range alone was a lengthy 500 foot.
This was an exciting project for the Mercer team who worked tirelessly for 6 days and nights to complete the works and meet all required specifications, as per IDH drawings. Fifteen fully qualified scaffolders and two HGV drivers were assigned to the job and successfully ensured that everything was in place in time for the Paralympics.

Testimonial from Niall Hickey, Project Manager at John Sisk & Son Ltd:
"Mercer Scaffolding successfully constructed the Archery Stage at the London 2012 Paralympics Games. The job required scaffolding to be built following very precise design specifications and high level of detail. As experts in their field, Mercer completed the project to the exact brief and within the desired tight timeframe. Their team were both professional and proficient, whilst also appreciating the opportunity of working at such a historic sporting event.
I would have no issues recommending Mercer Scaffolding for future projects".
