We were contracted by Vinci to provide specialist access to the Grade 2 historic Snaresbrook Court building in East London for urgent repairs. The scaffold consisted of a temporary roof covering the main building which was floated around the stone spires by deep apollo beams. The design for the scaffold incorporated the many unique shapes of the building which prevented much of the structure coming from being supported by the ground below. Due to our extensive stock of fabricated beams, we were able to successfully bridge every area to suit the needs of the project. The traditional tin roof over the top provided weather protection during the invasive repairs being carried out the building which was originally constructed in 1841 and stood as the Royal Wanstead School from1938–1971, before being converted into the Crown Court.
The intricate details and protection provided by the scaffold allowed the Court to remain fully operational throughout all works with no risk to occupants or the public.
